I'm Not Sure Why...

I have been so excited for Christmas this year. I know, Halloween is tomorrow, but I can't help it. Maybe it is the change of season that threw me off, because I have felt like baking ever since the weather turned. Maybe it is the urge to bake that makes me feel like I am ready for Christmas to come. So what did I do last week with left over egg whites from another baking incident? I got out last years leftover candy canes and made peppermint meringues. They were pretty yummy!

Oh, and I should mention there is bread in the oven right now...
